'Fun, Play' Sessions
At our Fun, Play After School Clubs, we encourage students to practice, make mistakes and try new skills that they have been taught. This develops self-confidence and self-esteem.
Sessions can be run any weekday evening or on Saturday mornings to suit the preference of the school and parents.
After School Clubs can be run as a very effective compliment to a programme of curriculum coaching, whether just for a single school or indeed as part of a coordinated 'Soccer Initiative' - see the case studies
Fun, Play Sessions will have a focus on:
Agility, Balance, Co-ordination & Speed
Ball familiarisation
The 5 R's
Run (movement into space)
Request (Calling for the ball)
Receive the Ball (head up, body open)
Release the Ball (Dribble, Pass, Shoot)
Small Sided games
